A toddler named Kh’amorion Taylor wandered away from home without his shoes and wearing only his pajamas.It was a grave concern because clearly, the little boy got lost from his home in St. Louis, and his parents were surely worried.Luckily, a stray pit bull stayed by his side until a concerned neighbor came to help the young boy find his home and return him to his family.Dogs have always been men’s best friend and they have proven that countless times.

Just as always, it is heartwarming to hear stories of dogs’a loyalty to humans.Such is the story of a stray dog who kept his new human friend — a toddler — safe until his dad is back.On Thursday, Kh’amorion Taylor, wandered away from their home in St. Louis. He got lost barefooted and wearing only his pajamas.Fortunately, a stray pit bull found him and stayed by the toddler’s side until he had someone to take him back home. In that short while, the two of them instantly became good friends.

Then a concerned neighbor spotted them, and helped the young boy find his home, knocking on doors around the neighborhood for hours. The entire time, the pit bull did not leave him and made sure he was safe.

Finally, his father saw a post on the internet and the two got reunited.

“He looked well taken care of, he was very neat, very clean; he just didn’t have the shoes on,” says the Good Samaritan who found Kh’amorion.

As soon as the news of the stray pup’s heroic act reached the police, they won’t just let it go without rewarding him for a job well done — they are considering adopting the loyal dog and giving him his forever home.
